How wide can you go in the rear with DOT slicks

I am looking at a 15x10 right now and probally a 26 inch tire. If I could fit a 28, that would be cool. I know that I can fit an 8 inch wide wheel in there, just curious about the 10 and what offset I would need.

I may have to. My class allows for mini tubs, so I may do it.

the offset would be somewhere in the 35 to 38 range.

15x10 on a weld drag wheel with 5.5 inch offset. You will need to flare a little but they will fit. Here is the flaring my buddy did to his.

Thats pretty nice looking.

I am leaning more towards the mini tubs because I am going to a solid axle. It may just be easier this way in the long run. I dont know yet. I need to look under the car and figure something out.

Thanks for ther info camel
