Thumbs down

Hello everyone,

I just purchased another turbo 2. It has a remanufactured engine from Atkins Rotary...brand new, never started. The engine is also equipped with gilmer drive pulleys (installed by Atkins).

I just finished putting it back together, and as I was getting ready to stab the cas and line up the timing marks...I found that there were no timing marks on my main pulley!!!!

I spoke with Dan Atkins today in regards to the lack of any timing marks on my main pulley, and he told me that I have to talk to their supercharger guy on Friday.

Has anyone run into anything like this before?

Some of my friends have told me to get a hold of a stock pulley, swap it, mark the timing marks, and then transfer them to the aftermarket pully. But I have also been told that I can't do that because each pulley has been designed to the that specific engine.

what do u guys thing of my motor

i believe it says in the instructions to transfer the timing marks with a marker, so that sound like a good bet to me

get a stock main pulley for that motor, and swap over the marks, the pulley will only go on one way, the bolt pattern is skewed.
