I faced with a descision on how to spend my money - used jspec motor, or rebuild this motor myslef. I've heard that with an imported motor you really dont know what kind of condition the motor is actually in, so it could break on ya. On the other hand, I could rebuild this motor myself with the help of a mechanic who knows a little about them. I have never with my own eyes seen the inside of a rotary, but I do have a fairly good understanding on how everything works. Shes an 87 TII.

Any insight at all is appreciated.

If you have the time & place - rebuild.

Maybe a little port job while you're at it.
