Tii Upgrade Path
#1
Ok, First the skinny on my car.
1988 TurboII. Mostly stock..
What I've done so far......
I've started the mod process on my car. Installed the K2RD blockoffs, except the MOP. I plan on removing the rats nest and vac lines. I will eventually replace the Fuel lines with AN fittings and an aftermarket FPR. for now I am keeping the engine and turbo stock, or until the engine detonates (is currently @ 170k miles and shows signs of oil seal wear.) And a Full RB turboback exhaust. TID mod.
A few questions...
How do I keep this car reliable?
I will primarily keep the engine stock until I can afford to upgrade. But I just want Soild relaibility with this car. Also is a FPR and AN fittings to remove the damn pulsation damper (mine was leaking) Worthwhile? Plus getting a Walboro fuel pump? Or should I just go get a Haltech while the whole damn thing is apart?
Or should I just stop this iinsanity before I throw a seal?

Freestyle, thanks for the input.
Ok, so, would just fuel mods, FPR, FCD Walboro Fuel Pump, Stock intake, RB full exhaust. All emissions removed. Be reliable? I have not done a compression check on the engine, but it still runs very strong. I figure get some of this crap done because I enjoy rotarys and have so for the past 5 years. So yeah I do plan on keeping the car.
And with a Haltech, can it be programmed to work with a stock turbo and block? Is there stock maps?
Thanks
