Wink

then engine gave out tonight after my third run at englishtown. ran 14.3, 14.4, 13.8. had to play with suspension. car didn't lean out just 100K + mile engine and apex seals wore out. no biggie. i will have my FD back very soon. then i'm gonna fix the TII the way it deserves to be, street port, paint job, fix body, etc, etc. project # 2 for now i have to concentrate on my FD

the car didn't detonate or anything, i'm pretty sure an apex seal failed due to old age i expected the car to blowup long ago just ask 13BAce. i will have my FD back very soon so its not big deal

Did it sound like a volkswagen? If so then an apex seal probably broke, but it could have taken out the rotor and housing in the process. If it stayed in place then it wouldn't do too much damage.

FD will be ready next week

yeah my car sounded like a volkswagon :baaaa: the apex seal def broke on the rear rotor. i think i can def make this a 12 sec daily driver beast very easily. just needs the engine rebuild, turbo rebuild, some racing seats, and all the body work fixed. then i will have a mint TII :bigok:
