Feather it off the line at 5500 RPM. It is when you start to build maximum torque. Your 60' is the prob. Practice on your launch....that is the only way to get under 14 seconds.

Oh....shift point should be @ 6900 rpms. That is when your HP's start to drop off.

Let me know if it works.

my fastest run my car hopped to a 2.00 60ft and i shifted at 8000 rpm real hard. i just stayed in 3rd gear and wound it out. whenever i did anything else, i got 14.6's all day long. i'm also going on the limitless drag racing advice of judge ito which helped drop me from 14.6 to 14.2 just by changing driving style. if i could shift as fast as him i could get a 13.9.... i just need more practice!

After I had my car dyno'd, I did the 5500rpm feather launch and shift @ 6900rpm (close to it)...I ran a constant 13.9 @ Sears Point, Sonoma, CA. That was about 5yrs ago. I still have the time slips...somewhere...

See my attachment for the dyno results.
