Alright there seems to be some major issues goin on with my 91 TII. Im having trouble getting the damn thing to hold a proper idle, on a cold start it wont hold an idle at all, the car just shuts off, so i went in and checked all my vacuum lines and checked the TPS but found no probelms there. Ive been thinking that it might have somthing to do with the AFM, I might have wired it wrong but im almost 100% sure i didnt. So i still have this idle problem thats kicking my ***. Other than that i have another problem in my midst, it seems everytime I push the clutch in to shift im blowing the " Meter " fuse on the fuse panel under the dash. Im thinking it has something to do with the ground wire that goes to the tranny...but not sure. Also.....when im holding the throttle open to about 3-4k RPMs the car begins to shake....the motor is not holding a smooth speed like it should. I dont realy know how else to explain it so i recoreded a small video clip of whut its doing. Video

I think you definately have a few wiring problems, but i cant really help you there.

The car sounds like its running on one rotar half the time, but its hard to tell. If thats what its doing then my first guess would be something is wrong with the ignition, a wire or plug or even a coil could be cutting out, use a timing light and see if it is infact not firing part of the time. Just have someone keep the car running and you hook the timing light to each wire seperately and look for incosistant flashing.

I would also change the water temp sensor, it affects the a/f mix at start up and if its bad it can cause wierd things, surging, no idle, etc.

How easy does it start? You may want to do a compression check.

There is a chance all of this could be related to a fuel injector or something, but just judging by the sound clip it doesnt sound that way.

Why did you have to wire up the AFM? Where wires cut?

Oah and ya we did a compression check b4 installing the motor, it was good. But i did notice one thing when i looked at the Apex Seals through the spark plug holes, one of the seals looked kinda copper compared to the others ...idk much about em but maybe this one is a little worn down?
