Will the power steering pump from an '89 Tii fit into an '87 GXL? If it will fit, will it work? There has been a question about the wiring and the difference in the power assisted steering of the two cars.

 

I have a 86 GXL pump for cheap!

IF is has the 2 pressure lines and one return line, yes it will fit. You will have to use the pulley of the GXL it has a different offset fromt an 89 car. THis is the pump that is controled by car speed not rpm speed
