How about people stop throwing around the "just get a TII" response to questions? LOL. There just arent that many around, those that are around are either alot of money, already been fucked with and are about to explode, or are just so damm bastardized that they arent worth a **** anymore. The thought of spending $4000 or so on a TII, and to HOPE it may last a year or so, makes me ill, think Ill go with a small block conversion. I know it will be fast, VERY reliable, and I wont have to rely on some rocket scientist to tune it for me, then hope that he knew what the **** he was doing anyhow. I mean really, how many modded turbo RX-7s run for a while? Are they just beaten to death, or not tuned right? And what makes people who are modding thier TII or FDs THINK that they can accomplish what others havent been able to do? I know there are a handfull of modded turbos running for a while, but I think that is more driver control, the driver taking it easy on the car.

Fact of the matter is that once you beat on these cars, they puke the engine, I dont see the big attraction there. Accomplish something by not only going fast, but going fast on the set up you have for while to justify spending the time and money on the car.... just my thoughts after driving my slow *** convertible today and thinking of doing a TII conversion

i guesse its wat u want the car for... for drag racing, road racing, ect.. its just how u gotta tune it. i tuned for drift by attacking the suspension and wheel/tire setup.

but yea, a TII would be nice tho. *sigh* but some of u guys talk like theres TII's out there like theres honda civics. makes me mad! and jelous

I agree Rob.... and I'm not just saying that because I've had 2 NA's! I've had turbo cars also, one modded to mid 13's at 100. I would like to try a TII or FD one day too. I'm just saying that based on your driving style, budget, and maintenance/tuning, I think some people would rather have NA sevens than turbos.... plus the availability of a good one... there are rarely ever TII's with under 100K and in good shape for sale around my area.

theres rarely any t2 thats in good enough shape to buy, you buy it and you have no idea how long is gonna last? espeacially after you start to mod them, damn those apex and coolant seals!

As good as any N/A I know, except the turbo oil seals didn't work after it was rebuilt. Does it burn your *** to know that there are reliable TIIs out there? It's really simple...some of us don't want slow cars...get over it.
