If I have a spare fc laying around, which includes headlight panels (or whatever you call them), is it feasible to cut a hole in the right headlight panel and use bondo to create a fresh air inlet scoop? Or will I end up with a piece of **** to add to the pile?

this may sound stupid...but what should I cut with if I'm not going from the edge? I was planning on just cutting 3 sides of the space and just bend the piece down, then bondo. sound good?

 

yup, try it out, maybe on the fender first

It would be for looks anyhow, those little scoops serve no purpose.

If you want to try it though go ahead, but not like you can mold bondo like clay and expect it to stay like that, it will probably end up cracking or just falling off.

 

Thanks for the info...it was just a thought. I gotta find something to do with spare parts.
