i was curious about not using the thermostat, for the reason of thinking the radiator might be to small,

it s a s4 n/a, w/ no heater

the coolant port ON THE SIDE of rear housing pluged

what will be my problems w/ no running the thermostat

i only have water going in and out thru the water pump all other port plugged

removing the stat is more for reliability than it is for reducing temps.

I found that a gm thermostat will fit in our housings, just get a gm one and drill small holes around the edge, and you will never overheat.

racers do it all the time. you need to plug the bypass port, its the round one under the t stat, otherwise the coolant doesnt go thru the radiator.

on a street car, thermostat is better, shorter warmup is better
