I am working my 89 turbo II which I bought without a engine, tell me if I am wrong or not. The wire for the temp gauge runs in the driver's side harness right near the oil pressure sender wire? Right? Because I can seem to find mine.

 

it runs in the engine harness, i think its yellow. 89-91 should be a female spade

 

You mean the engine harness which pretty much all the sensors are connected to? If so looks like I am going to have to repin something.
