ok so i finished portnig my tb and doing the tb mod a few days ago, but im lazy and work 10 hours a day PLUS 3 hours of comunity service.

But here's the resultsafter AWS Removal, Charcoal Canister Removal, BACV Bypass, Cruise Control Removal, TB Mod, TB Port, and Brake Master Cylinder installation (feel to post opinions, but its all absed on my perception)

After immediately bolting everything up had a weird idle condition that i figured was the TPS problem due to it being unset. So i set it and the problem stayed around. Eventually on a random idea i kinked the full hose i used to bypass the AWS, BAM perfect. So i cut the hose and made 2 block offs.

So fixed that glitch, now the car idles PERFECTLY SMOOTH at 750rpms, yes folks the stock setting is perfect ask vosko or frestyle or fikse, they saw it today in person. This is whether starting cold or starting warm both in this single digit temperature weather.

The car is running extremely rich due to the o2 sensor wire snapping in half, damn fragile harness, so unfortunately the butt dyno results will probably change, obviously for the better i figure.

Anyway it seems to have more power down low, i used to be able to get a short break of the tires on a 1st->2nd shift...i now do full burnouts in 2nd if i dont control it. The car gets up to high rpms and high speeds very quickly.

The bad side, it SEEMS my days of making giant fireballs are over, i do still shoot fire but only ginormous short shotgun blasts of flame, this i think is because my tps is FINALLY set and because the computer is confused without an o2 sensor, ill be fixing this shortly (haltech harness wooo) and we'll see the results after that. But there is a bright side, the car now shoots flames on shifting which never happened before, i attribtue it to lack of dashpot, no matter what 7club says.

now the fun part, pics:

Very nice Job Kevin.

Did you remove very much from the walls in between the ports? Also, you took out the whole area where the rod went through that held the removed throttle plates, is that right?

I am doing this this weekend and just seeing what everyone has done. Yours is one of the nicer ones I have seen. I have also seen just the throttle plates removed with no extra polishing or metal removal at all. I think I will plan mine like yours. Thanks for the pics.

fikse look in the original topic i posted there's one pic of the original tb, its a massive difference.

the only problem ive had on startup was once i had to give it a blip of the throttle, then it settled perfectly, no problems since.
