it actually reached both

I think the cruise control hose might go on the one on the side, closest to the firewall, just becuase the cable and hose where clamped together, and the cable goes behind the tb, so the hose kinda follows it (just logical guesstimating)
go with that one, mazda is subtle sometimes but usually there is only one way something will fit

I actually left the emissions stuff in

I took off both manifolds, replaced brittel vacuum and fuel hoses, eliminated the secondary butterflies, added pineapple inserts to my secondary port sleeves, and pretty much cleaned out all the intake parts

I went ahead and capped that vacuum fitting, and it idles now. I also added another cap over the coolant fittings, but couldn't get a clamp over it (in a hurry). So I figured, if the last one stayed on for 2 days, this one would stay on until I can make it home (I hope...jug of antifreeze in car just in case).

by the way, I don't know which aspect of the cleanup/upgrade that it was, but the engine sounds really cool, especially at higher rpm's...very meaty

oh, another thing I just noticed today: there is some kind of ground that goes to the exhaust manifold (I think I am remebering this correctly)...I noticed the wire is just cut off and hanging there...any idea where this goes?
