for some wierd reason the oil cooler line port on my front cover isn't the right size or the threads are messed up, because my new RB line will not fit in there and my oil ones won't either..... weird, so what size should i tap it to?

on my front cover there is a junction piece which threads into the front cover, and also provides a male end for the oil cooler line to thread onto. I suspect you are missing this link, if you removed oil cooler lines from a different front cover go look at that cover, you might find the missing piece... or it might be sitting in your old oil cooler line if it's not in a different front cover... You shouldnt have to tap anything AFAIK, those lines are always the same.

You can see it in this picture, it has a hex shape for a wrench to hold it, it's essentially what a computer geek would call a gender changer, i'm not sure what the correct terminology is for plumbing/automotive though

If it matters, I believe the threads are 18mm X 1.50.

 well looks like i still need an adapter, wtf why doesn't racing beat give you one with their lines???? that piece i was missing i found it, the part on the front cover is a female end with threads, the stock oil line uses that adapter, but its male to male, the rb line is also male. dumbass i tell ya. the rb line i made to just stick in their w/o the factory adapter i think im gonna go write to them right now
