Yes, if you use the TII clutch, flywheel, starter, transmission, and slave cylinder you could do it with a custom driveshaft. I've heard that an automatic driveshaft will work, but I never tried it.

If you want to use a TII driveshaft then you'll need the TII driveshaft, rear, and axles.

unless your N/A is putting down alot of power there is no real need to put in a TII tranny. your money could be spent better elsewhere

The TII transmission has much better gearing.

Unhappy

well my tranny has pretty much lost the synchro in 3rd and I can feel 2nd is on its way....so would it be feasible to just replace the synchros? what are my options?and regardless of if I do the t2 tranny I do want to throw in a gtus rear end if I'm not mistaken it has the 4.30....

what do you guys think?

http://www.mazdatrix.com

or your local dealer. you should also replace the bearings while its apart. a decent idea might be to swap to another used tranny and see how long it lasts then rebuild yours.
