tito at alamo rotary charges big $$$ to do stuff.

he does good engine rebuilds that are reliable, but they are expensive. i paid $5500 for my rebuild, but it's lasted 2 years and i've started pushing the boost up higher. it still pulls strong, but blows hella smoke when i first start it up. after a minute, i give it a good revv, and the smoke goes away. i still dont know what the problem is.

only do to tito if you cant do something yourself. he charged my mom $100 to unflood her old rx-7!!! after that, i haven't gone back to him. i tought myself to change out my shocks and springs, brake pads and lines and master cylinder, clutch line and slave cylinder, and exhaust. i saved lots of money doing it myself.

you'll save lots of money if you can order off the internet. i bought my exhaust off of him because he is a racing beat dealer, but that's the only reason i went to him.

not that i'm bashing tito, i'm just saying he charges too much. and he's not very socialble -- he seems angry all the time. scares me.

small hands, smells like cabbage...

there is a guy in town, some lawyer or something, original owner of a 90 S5 TII, white. it has 83000 miles. he wants to sell it, and i keep seeing him in his volvo here in town and he drives up next to me going 50 mph, and yells at me "i have an rx-7 just like that for sell. know anyone who wants to buy it?"

he left his card and phone number on my windshield, if your interested or know anyone else who wants an s5 tii. i'm not sure how much money he's asking, i haven't called him.
