I am tryingto decide what engine I want to spend my money on, the S5 13bt turbo or the 13bre turbo. In your own opinions which would you choose? If anyone has direct experience going from an S5 to a 13bre maybe you could do a pro/con list? Thanks!

If money is not an issue, go with the RE. It has the potential to yield a lot more power. I am doing that swap into my TII right now. There is a thread over in the swaps forum. If you are on a budget, the 13bt swap will cost a lot less. Be prepared either way to spend some money. In my opinion you should just buy a TurboII to begin with, unless you have some deep sentimental ties to your car now. It will save you a lot of headaches

ERROUNEOS INFO DELETED. Just keep the motor you have. S4 TII motors only lacked in a few things over the S5's. You are doing a useless swap.

im pretty sure the 13bre is the cosmo motor, the 20b was an option motor in the cosmo, even in the japan the fd runs the rew
