Suspension Issues
#1
First off, I have an 88 Turbo II. When I bought my car the suspension was absolute dog ****, it would just bounce all over the road, and not the stiff kind of bouncing, the real sloppy kind, and it was still the factory suspension at 175k miles. I then replaced the shocks and struts with tokico hp's and the springs with the GF210s, now it is a lot better but still kind of sloppy. Either this month or next I am going to replace all of my bushings with some polyurethane ones that I bought. You think that will fix the problem? or should I look elsewhere?

Do the bushings, but also be sure to replace the rear-steer bushings (with "DTSS eliminator" bushings). Mine were real bad, and it made the car kinda swerve whenever I hit a bump.
If you have new suspension, and you get new bushings, your tires are decent, and you get an alignment, I can't see why you wouldn't have a nice ride.

It doesn't seem to swerve when I hit bumps, it just feels too bouncy, like riding on springs. Now when I am taking corners it feels a little loose. I guess. I will have to wait and see the outcome of the bushings.
