In the back of my mind I am thinking about supercharging my 87 base FC. The goal would be 5-8 psi on 9.4:1 rotors. Here is what I think I need:

Compressor: Eaton M90 3.8 (Thunderbird SC OEM)

Main pulley: " " OEM fabbed to stock front shaft

Belt / Idler bearing: OEM and / or source to different size

Intercooler: " " OEM

Brackets: fab job to A/C and P/S stud points

Pipes: fab

FMU: Haven't figured out which one yet

ECU: TII ECU, boost sensor, injectors, air flow meter (Haltech would be best)

Driveline: TII flywheel, gearbox, driveshaft, rear member, halfshafts

Water Injection: Fab

Anything I forgot?

that looks ok, you might want to get a ceterfugal supercharger instead of the roots. we got to look at an fc atkins supercharged, and it made 3 less hp than it would have na (160 vs 163). its cramming in all the air too soon and by the time the engines ready to take it the superchargers done, it did good burnouts though.

i think the t2 ecu/injectors is a good choice

Yeah, I was wondering what was wrong with the Atkins SC setup. It should be in 200 territory. The problem with the centrifugals is their price (!). One option I could try would be underdriving the roots by a factor of 1.5 to 2, using a smaller main pulley, so it would be breathing correctly at rotary speeds.

A turbo conversion would be much simpler. Maybe I should consider that instead.

with all that energy in the rotary engines exhaust it would be a sin to supercharge it instead of turbo, but picking a good single turbo for the broad rpm range of the rotary is a difficult task. I'm thinking big turbo, spray the low end (and the lag)
