My sunroof panel is really rusted and the bodyshop told me there's no point in fixing it cause the rust will come right back out in a few months so he suggested to get another one. I'm sure most of you know that the panel from the dealer is over $400.00. And i'm sure you guys have been through the same thing as i am going through. any suggestions as to where I could find one, does somebody else make them, anything?

On the topic of sunroofs, mine sticks... does not open at all. when i press the button to open it makes a click, click, clicking sound... and nothing happens. Are my tracks rusted?

how can i get the roof out, so i can replace the tracks?

should i kick it so it pops out?

mine did that, and (with the help of my dad) we got it open some, but then we couldn't get it shut. (it rained later )

I wouldn't try opening it, unless you're just about to take it out of the car. Mine turned out to have bad cables and a bad motor.

take off that layer that's underneath the sunroof, and you'll see that there's 6 nuts holding the sunroof in place. I don't suggest on trying to get it open because it might get stuck like it did on Baldy. Unless you have extra money for the sunroof motor that's know to go bad.

I'll give you a call later Banzai, after i buy a calling card
