Hey guys,

The other day I was sitting in my car and till then the fact that I have a sunroof completely slipped my mind lmao. I was overwhelmed by everything else in the car lol. Anyways ... When I go to open it, it needs a little help to get it to pop up but after that everything is fine. It slides ok so I'm guessing the tracks are nice and clean and it doesn't seem to have any trouble what-so-ever once it pops up. Is this normal, or is it just a sign that the previous owner didn't use it much either? Is there anything I should do, like maybe lube it up real good or something lol?

Thanks for any help!

LMAO. You just now notice it.

Mine does the same thing also. It needs a little help and some yelling to open up.

Thats typical of most RX-7's. Evryone I know with a sunroof as well as myself has to give it a nudge to pop it open.

Sunroofs are so 80's style. Along with the pop up headlights. Now all I need is a vented hood. And I would be so 80's style.

I would say try lubing up the track on the sun roof. That could help.
