Yesterday I FINALLY installed the engine brace for my Mazdatrix strut tower brace, but it didn't seem to work well because I felt alot of shaking, and there was some rattling. I KNOW that everything was tightened well.
< Isnt the shaking and rattling from the fact you put a engine brace on ? Now it will transfer all the vibration from the engine to the firewall. It warns you of that, maybe you should have kept it a 2 point brace without the engine brace.

That's probably the cause of the shaking. Maybe I'm not as hardcore as I thought. I took it off just to be safe because the bracket was VERY close to one of the alternator belts. I"ll have to grind it a little to feel better.

< Only you would spend the money on the 3 point MazdaTrix bar and attack it with a grinder! I would leave the engine brace off, kind of like putting solid motor and tranny mounts in a car, youre just asking for vibrations.

Yeah, you're probably right. Maybe I'll find another use for that engine brace, like a paperweight.
