Is there a site where you can actually view the cusco strut braces? cant find any anywhere? Carbon Fibre sounds very tempting!

I would love to get that bar, but damn convertibles have the spare tire where the third part bolts to. [/quote]

Spare tire? Oh, I thought that was just extra weight to make the vert even slower (except yours 13BAce).

Yes, that tire actually works. I've used it before.

It's always good when those mishaps occur close to home.

Yesterday I FINALLY installed the engine brace for my Mazdatrix strut tower brace, but it didn't seem to work well because I felt alot of shaking, and there was some rattling. I KNOW that everything was tightened well.

I just received my front strut tower brace(fstb) yesterday, it was listed for 3rd gens but the price was too good, $43 w/shipping. I had to slightly modify the holes for it to fit the bolts. I might need to bolt it on top of the factory bolts for clearance reasons. This wont affect its performance(if it ever had any), right? or should it be mounted as close to the body as possible?

thanks

Do you have to cut the rear strut towers to put on the bar. I have speakers in the towers and don't feel like f@cking with them.

The rear bars usually require cutting holes in thespeaker housings, unless you have a convertible. :sigh:
