Stock Timing With All My Stuff....?

ok well if you dont know what i have...... then here or just look at the bottom......

i have a jspec 2nd stage port and polish engine with almost 20k miles

i have added rb headers, full exhaust, put in turbo injectors (secondaries 550cc), intake, rb clutch



now....

i havent changed my timing since i first put my engine in and i know i have to change it to get full power

how many degrees should i change it???

what should i do

gimmie some suggestions here cuz im changing it soon

I would say (from what I've read) you could go +5 safely. Although with those big 2ndaries probably more. Aren't you running mega-rich when they come on? Or is your porting aggressive enough to use them? I thought the stock 460s were good for something like 220HP. If you had a safc or similar, then you could trim it back down. Getting into trailing split looks like a can O worms. Oh, you're going to have to run high-test fuel too. With the price of gas here lately on the #@!*'g rise that's gonna hurt.

your telling me.....! I just filled up my gas tank today and it came out to 33 $$$$$$

what the hell is that all about???



well about runnin rich yeah it is running pretty damn rich right now and im waiting to get some money to get a safc which will help out a lot but yet i dont have the money for that just yet



and you dont think that 5 degrees or a lil more might be too much??



i dont really know so correct me if im wrong but that sounds like a lot

i guess im just gonna have to play with it

From what I heard about 2 of the thicknesses of the needle that protrudes that you set it with will do just fine

you might notice it running a little better, but it wont snap your neck or anything
