WTF is up with Mazdas boost gauge? Does anyone know how to convert that to psi or bar? Why the hell did mazda choose such an odd-ball means of measuring the boost! :madgo: I'm tring to figure out what the hell is wrong with my 10th AE, but I can't tell if it is making too much boost, or what. Can someone describe what it feels like when you hit the overboost fuel cut. Thanks.

Huh.... That kind of feels like what is happening. The needle on the boost gauge gets up to about the + (of the +40) and it starts hesitating. Wonder if thats my problem. On Sunday I was poking around under the hood, and TONS of **** is just rigged up. :frown: I'll fix my exhaust leak, and intake manifold leak first, and see if that helps, but I think that there is more to the problem then that.

Next few days I'm buying a boost gauge and A/F gauge, so I'll know for sure. At what point is the fuel cut? Isn't it at like 6.5 psi?

It's supposed to be 8.6 PSI, which is about 450 mm Hg.
