I JUST NOTICED WHEN ITS COLD THE CAR DOESNT REV TO 3K JUST TO 15OO RPM. SO I GUESS IT DOES DEPEND ON THE TEMPERATURE. A COUPLE OF DAYS AGO IT WAS 60 TODAY IS 35

you can check it yourself, its easy

the non flamable way: put a rubber glove, or suitable plug over the intake, pull off a vacuum hose and blow into the engine, its should hold vacuum. you should be able to hear your vacuum leaks, some soapy water will confirm it.

the flamable way: start engine, spray flamable liquid of your choice on the engine, vacuum hoses, and intakes gaskets, be careful flamable liquids (wd40, carb spray etc) are flamable

you're going to have to ensure your rotors are not oriented such that an apex is over the exhaust port, otherwise it won't be anywhere near sealed for the nonflammable test...

The idle is supposed to go up to 3000rpms briefly then down to 1500rpms then slowly to 750ish. My car will vary with temps (this winter in VA its been 15* one week and then 65* another) Cold starts will keep it up a little longer and a warmer start hits the 3k mark then drops almost immediately. As to fix the problem i dont know if you have to? Unless it just starts to go crazy like 3k to 500 then to 3k back and forth? Im pretty new to 7s...just saying what ive observed.
