Well as recommended I started checking my CAS connections at the ECU.. lone be hold.. a pin that was shoved out.. pushed it in and it started like it was good to go!!!

now for the down side.. my brand new bnr built turbo started smok'n I was thinking maybe coolant leak it almost smells sweet.. or maybe the nice paint he put on it is burning off?!?! if i smoked my nicely rebuilt turbo i'm gonna be very unhappy

btw it's smoking basically by where the coolant line connects to the turbo then to the LIM...

all this headache and it turns out to be a pin out .. i'm an idiot

n/m i thought it was coolant but from looking at my garage floor i'd say the oil return line isn't being a happy sealer to the turbo.

i need to up my idle to atleast 1.5k - 2k it holds itself at 1.9k pretty good with my foot on the gas.. atleast it runs now to figure out if i have a vacuum leak or anything else that isn't working quite right yet

Hey thats great, and atleast you got it going even if it was just a pin out. Less stuff to buy that way.

what are you talking about I had to go buy a timing light just now

it seems to be running a little happier with the injectors leaned out 25% (720's in the primary slots)

I just have that turbo issues to attend to.. I'm hoping it's nothing more than assembly lube and then the oil return line giving me static. It only starts to do it's smoking act after the car has been idling for a few minutes.

my EGT is reading like 500 @ 2k - 2.3k rpms. EGT probe is basically next to the o2 sensor in the DP. I don't see anything on the floor except the oil that i'm positive is coming from my oil return line. it's to far over to be motor. looks like all coolant stuff is dealing with itself fine to

I was up till 6am pondering the things of the wankle last night so motivation is really lacking today i'll just worry about my little turbo issue then worry about the rest hehe

"noooo don't burn. just run like a happy rotary"

I like that statement. We need to pray to thr rotary gods so we can allways have our happy running rotaries.
