I just remembered that my car had a stalling problem when I have the A/c on and I am coming to a stop- it will stall. Its worse when its cold, actually if I remember correctly, it doesnt happen after the car has been running a while...any ideas??

I'm not a genius with rotaries....but my guess is that either your a/c belt has too much tension or there's a short somewhere.

How's your idle without the A/C when the motor is cold?

< Its perfect. But on a hot day, if I turn that A/C on when I start the car, the first stop sign I come to, it will stall out.

It probably has to do with the fast idle cam/thermowax stuff.

wouldn't that be the BAC valve? doesn't that put extra air into the engine w/o opening the throttle plates to compesate for the extra stress of the A/C being on? that was my understanding of it, so try testing that.

The idle is fine otherwise, even with the A/C on, just doesnt like coming to a stop, if I play with the gas a little, its fine once I stop.
