Exclamation

Earl's or Aeroquip doesn't have the 5/16" size. Only AN Sizes, which is too big.

Summit does have 5/16" which is some generic brand. The clamps I used are SPECTRE MAGNA-CLAMP which have a hose clamp hidden in them so they look GOOD.

All Stainless can handle the Fuel Pressure from the Mazda pump (less than 40 PSI).

Stainless lasts much longer than standard rubber, but it does wear out as it is rubber lined. When it does there is no indication as there is with rubber as the stainless hides the deteriorating rubber.

Good Luck!

Just check out http://www.summitracing.com. They give you the pressure ratings of the SS hose they sell.

Rubber hose (for EFI) was $4.65 a foot.

Stainless was less from Summit.

The parts you need are:

SPE-29304 3 feet $10.50

SPE-2906 6 feet $13.95

SPE-29310 10 feet $22.95

Spectre Clamps

SPE-2160 5/16" $7.95 / Pair

(These are Red and Blue Anodized)

(Spectre also makes totally red and blue)

Hope that helps.

Sure, let me dig out the invoices and I will e mail you off list. Another trick we used on the racecar before we could afford braided line for the fuel lines was to get some 3/8" High Pressure power steering line with the metal mesh built inside. If you are going for looks braided is the way to go. If you are trying to improve safety and are on a budget the high Pressure PS line is a good option.
