I think a cold air intake would be a great add on to our cars, but is there any space???
i have never seen it, anything we can take off or a way to do it?? |
its not really worth all of the trouble it would be to do it

I saw one where a guy had drilled a hole and ran the pipe around the radiator, and rotayman88's staged upgrade list in the FAQ said that he saw a gain of 6 rwhp on a car like that, so it just depends on if you think it's worth it.

would be anice breather but i dunno if its worth it to do all of that, ill just probably do that cold air box concept
|
well if you want to; take out the windsheild washer resv, then cut straight down into the brake duct, throw the filter in there. That is striaght down where the stock location is.
|
hummmm
i never thoguht of that but do you know anybody that has done that though???? and are you sure this could work??? |
then your brakes wouldn't be as cool...I'm guessing
|
yeah thats no big deal, many of the IC kits elimnate them anyhow.

My idea, while not an actual cold air intake in your definition, would be making a cold air box in the bay, then routing cold air from the unused ducting in the front bumper using a divider to keep the air from moving to the radiator.
Heres a pic of what I'm talking about. http://www.o-t.us/upload/guest/FC-CAI.jpg |
