anyone have any cool sound systems in their 2nd gen?

i saw this guy who cut a board out to fit over the back and made speakers sticking out of it, that was really cool, anyone do that?

 

I like a stock look. Im thinking of making a box for a small sub to go under the spare tire cover in my vert. besides that i have an alpine amp and head unit with kenwood speakers in the door.
