I've been chasing issues with the boost sensor an electrical connections for 6 months now with no results. All of the wireing is good from the sensor to ecu and boost gauge, I have replaced the sensor with four different 318 sensors and they all failed per FSM specs. Now the kicker here is that I don't think the gauge has worked since I swaped the whole setup into a b2200. Is it possible for the boost gauge to short or send feedback to the sensor and fry it? Also I had tested a couple of the sensors before installing them using a old computer power supply. This is a straight swap from a 87 rx7 tII into a 87 b2200.
