I mean testing the effects of removing the BAC without using a/c. If it has any side effects.

My BAC doesn't do anything....nothing changes if I unplug it.

it will idle a little lower (200-300rpms?) without the bac, and it cant compesate for loads anymore (if you have ps, rear defroster etc), so if you take out the bac you should bump up the idle speed to about 900-1000 rpms so it doesnt stall

when my bac got unpluged. my engine would almost stall out when I turned the heater on... it's not only for A/C. it's for lots of stuff.

FYI if you want a nice TB try this my spare one is in the mail back to me

I've done the TB mod, and got rid of the BAC. I still need to re-adjust the TPS, and turn up the idle. Right now it idles around 600 rpm. Oh, and I'm not running AC or PS.

nice of you to poke your head in, haven't seen you in awhile. So you didn't see and side effects either...
