Some advice/ opinions?

I found a S5 shell. It is a NA, not sure if it's GTU or GXL. The body is pretty nice, about a 8/10
A few dings down the door. The front bumper needs repainted, and it needs a hood.
It has no headlights or taillights or trunk lock.
It is missing alot of the interior pieces, mainly the gauge cluster and a few misc things that I can see. It's pretty messy from random parts tossed in.
It is missing the driveshaft, exhaust (no biggy, would upgrade anyways)
No tranny, engine is most likely blown. No brake booster, brake master, clutch master, no radiator, and IDK what else.
What would you offer or think this is worth?Do you think 400$ is too much?
How hard are these parts to find?

You own a DSM...inexcusable!! Just kidding...welcome to Nopistons!
400$ seems fine for just a shell...if the shell is as nice as you're saying it is but it isnt even close to running condition...
I say post up some pics...of the car.

I have stolen a few FCs in my time, I browse the local classifieds and dont come across them anymore.
Finding nice FCs for $500 is getting rare, but parts are getting cheaper.
If you have more time then money I would consider buying that car, then keeping your eyes out for another one that might have been hit containing the parts you need, compile them into one car.
If you have more money then time pass on the car and get a complete running car.

I would also say browse Canadian craiglists if you're near the border. Our dollar sucks *** right now, and on the west coast there's still a couple FCs (GXLs, GTUs mostly) going for about 500 CAD with a blown motor. Tranny still good, full interior, everything.
