call me crazy, but a custom light job would be to keep the full sized bulb and cut out the part of the front bumper the light sits behind when its down. a little bondo and some plexi and it could have a 3rd gen style to it. that seems a little looney though.

It originated with drifters who reallized that a sideways car doesn't get nearly as much air in through the grill, so the idea is for the headlights to act like little scoops to help move air through the radiator and engine compartment.

Now, it's just a fad.

I agree thats why you must take out you head light surround bezels, thats the only way it looks good too.

here's my FC woth sleepy eye's

I have a little module hooked up to mine so I can adjust how far they go up, but I've had them set to down almost ever since I put that on, I prefer them down.

You just put the 30A fuse/relay back in where its supposed to go in the fuse box under the hood, its the one on the far left hand side of the box.

I might be a tard but how can you see when driving at night if you do that. otherwise it looks cool.

unlike the 240's the lights on the FC stay level and pointing forward the whole way down insted of pointing down, and the FC has these little things called flash to pass lenses so the light can pass through there too, so its not that bad. If you having that much trouble turn your high beams on, or get your eye's checked.

you pull the fuse for the retractor then you flick that **** that makes them go up without them being on or you can turn them on if its night when you do it and then just tap the fuse little by little they come up
