To use the rx8 tranny, you'd need a Turbo II flywheel, and appropriate counterweight(s), a Turbo II pressure plate, thow-out bearing, RX8 clutch disc(not sure if FD disc or Turbo II disc have the same spline count as the RX8 tranny), RX8 starter, and have to rig up a way to get the speedo to work. I believe the output shaft in the RX8 trany has the same spline count as the Turbo II tranny....not 100% sure....you'd also have to custom fab a tranny mount.

All this applies to an NA FC.

Obviuosly if it's a Turbo II, it's an easier swap, but not reccommended...their has been some debate as to the weakness(or strength) of the RX8 6 speed.

I myself have had no problems with mine, but it's bone stock, and she only has 9,400 miles. But I don't baby her.....

I drove a used rx8 with 24k miles, and lets just say the tranny had seen better days. It was noisy and hard to shift, especially at high rpm.
