Thumbs down

which is better for an n/a fc.....im debating over the corksport single or the apexi n1 dual .... i ordered the corksport and cancelled it the day they got it in from being on back order i can still call them up and reorder but the reason i canceled is i changed my mind and im seriously considerin the apexi dual....since i have about a 940 budget for the car and im tryin to get good parts and not slack but the corksport is sooo much cheaper...its 340 with silencer and shipping the cheapest i can get the apexi with silencers and shipping now is for about 640....im reaallyyy unsure of wat to get so if ne of u can persuade me to one side so i can order and forget about it...post pics if u can...

thanx alot

I had the Corksport single on my NA and it sounded like **** and was ridiculously loud. As for single vs. dual, that's more a matter of opinion at least with looks. There are single systems that flow as good or better than dual systems and vice versa. The CS flows good, will last a long time, and is cheap but I just couldn't take how loud it was and the fart can tip didn't look right on my NA.

I'm all about the cheapness. If I can't decide between one thing and the other, I choose the cheaper one.

If you're like me, you'd choose the cheaper one. But that's just me, I'm not sure about the performance gains of one over the other.

I'm definitely with you there Baldy. Considering its full polished stainless, you can't beat the price of the CS. I should mention that I was running no cats when I had it installed.. had an RB pipe with presilencer. If you have your cats, I'm sure it would sound fine.

if u look at a pic of the apexi dual u can see that there is a muffler before the tipp...im guessing since the muffler is a straight through design they use the premuffler i guess u could call it to silence it there for i might not even need the silencers...and i could get it for 570 from rxecret7.com which is the only site ive seen selling the dual by itself without the silencersbut with them its just about the same as neone else....but so far the other stores ive checked included the silencers so its without or with i guess

single is generally gonna be a little lighter

dual should be generally a tad quieter

flow depends on other things (cannister design, piping etc etc)

To be honest, I haven't noticed a huge difference in noise from the NA dual over the single, now I have never heard the corksport exhaust, so I can't comment on that, the dual was a bit deeper in tone, but I dunno that it was that much quieter.

N1 dual is loud! RB has the best sound, IMO.
