Well after 2 long weeks waiting to get the cash saved to go get it, she is home. 1988 Turbo II.

Cloth blue interior, Sunroof, Power windows, 5 speed, Street port, and some type of Rayjay turbo. 3" downpipe, a large Deltagate with 9 psi spring, RB catback exhaust, and a clean paint job, no rust on the car, just a few minor dings.

$500 for the car, $40 to have it towed to the house.

Now for the problems...

Cranks, spits, sputters, fires...and dies, Longest I had it running was 30 or so seconds, it is hitting on all the plugs, and when it runs @ 2000 rpm, she sounds great, but sputters and dies immediately. Seems to be a fuel pump problem, not to mention the 4 yr old gas that is in the tank. The exhaust is basically open, the wastegate flange was welded to the exhaust, but the wastegate was never installed. I am open to suggestions as I am not good on the stock equipment on these motors or cars. Remember I helped on modified cars, not stock style. What about the MAF sensor? Hitting the gas causes it to immediately die out, which is why I am leaning towards a fuel pump problem.

Sunroof, motor operates, but no movement of the roof, is it gear driven or a cable, and what do I need to do to replace it.

Stock stereo is with the car, but someone in the past clipped the wires. so I have no idea if it works or not, Stereo is in excellent cosmetic shape. But it will be replaced with my Kenwood deck.

More pics to come tomorrow in the daylight, I await your respones

Sean

She not bad for $500. A bit of work and a coat of paint, you'll have her looking new in no time. Well done.

So does that mean that we are getting photos of her after she's cleaned up.
