This is what happens when you get creative in a lathe with some solid 3.5" 7075 T-6 stock lying around the shop

You can see the internal taper and the scribing marks for the holes and triangilar base

here it is mocked up in the car, spot faced the holes for cap head allen screws and all i need is a weld bead on the slipfit piping
