Ok, I've made some payments, sold some stuff, etc...so I've got some $$$ to buy some new stuff to aid in the rebuild of my jspec. Here is what the motor will consist of(mostly):

*2mm 2peice Apex seals

*Mazda Racing Apex springs

*OE Side seals & springs

*FD Corner seals & springs

*Inner & outer oil control orings made of Viton

*Racing thermal pellet

*OE front & rear seals

*OE pilot bearing & seal

*Racing Beat stage one stationary gears

*Custom 1320 engineering Competition street port

I'm shooting for 18psi...and I feel somewhat confident this setup will hold. Any opinions or idea of a better part? BTW..I am using a larger T-78 turbo as well https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

What EMS are you going to run? Haltech?

Rotaryman88 06-02-2002 07:25 PM

Well, Haltech would be the obvious choice...but I don't want to premix ...which sometimes you have to do w/ Haltech...I may see if I can just get by w/ a FCon. I'm still looking at other's too...I'll cross that bridge when I get there, lol...

Premixing seems to help oil get all over the housings. The stock oil injection system doesn't seem to be able to do that too well.

Make sure that you have your fuel system in order. Whose seals do you plan on using? You'll probably want an upgraded oil pressure regulator.

Rotaryman88 06-02-2002 08:15 PM

The Oil seals will most likely be OE..unless you have a better suggestion, lol. Yea, I've already got a high performance OPR from racing beat.

Rotaryman88 06-02-2002 08:17 PM

Oh, and I've already built a custom fuel rail. I'm gonna have 720cc primaries and 4 880cc or larger secondaries....hopefully the EMS can handle it....

i need to order all that + 2 rotors, intermediate housings, and rotor housings https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif

I meant apex seals.

hurley are pretty good when they break they don't mess up everything inside the engine. i might try them on my TII who knows what i'm gonna do https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png
