S5 Seatbelt Problem
#1
ok my passenger side automatic part of the seatbelt wont move, it's in the "seatbelt is on" position and stuck there. the seatbelt light is on whether the belt is clicked in or not and it doesnt move from its position.
There's the sound of a relay clicking under the glovebox like it constantly clicks when i start the car and sometimes the seatbelt thing mvoes a little bit.
what connections ro relays should i check? whats the most common problem.
and yea i know "convert to s4" im lazy.
kevin.

If the seatbelt is stuck...This will put it in the closed postion:
Look behind the passenger seat...on the pillar...you will see a small removable square plastic piece. Pop that out and you will see a small cylindrical fuse...and an allen wrench screw. Unplug the fuse...and find an allen wrench to fit. Crank it back into the retracted position.
Now that the fuse in unplugged...the seatbelt will never move out of place...just that the passenger now has to click and unclick the belt when they get it...as they would if they were in a normal automobile, haha
Thats actually a Vosko tutorial...he showed me that a few years ago
Easy fix...takes 2 minutes...or you could get the recall done like Rob said. I did it once...and they even washed the car for me ...but that was in VA...not NJ, haha.
good luck
