im thinking of putting an S5 bumper on my 87 and was just wondering if there would be any problems with fit etc. IMO the cover just looks alot better and mine is cracked so I might as well trade up if I can. Im not a big fan of the aftermarket stuff out there.

it'll work but the molding is different so you can leave it, remove it or what ever

 

I like the body colored molding, i'd try to paint the black ones on your FC to match your car...the black makes it look too...."bumper carty"

 

dont you need the bumper support from the s5?

 

Not necessarily, they should be almost identical

 

I used to think so too. Lately, though, I've had this fixation with leaving my molding black (the car is white) and adding a front lip and sideskirts and painting them to match the molding. This in combination with black wheels would be teh rawk on in my opinion.

 

My car is black anyway so no big. Just think the S5 bumpers are way better looking.

 

yeah, it will fit, s4 and s5 only differnt is the support bar in front u dont' need the support bar for the s5 bumper..just dont' get into a wreck
