S5's do have more hp but I think the weight difference is enough to offset the hp difference. The only reason I say so is from personal experience racing S5s.

s1 = 79-80

s2 = 81-82

s3 = 83*-85

s4 = 86-88

s5 = 89-91

s6 = 92-95

s7 = 96-98

s8 = 99-02
