Is there any difference between the the S4 & S5 water pump housings besides the water neck???? What about turbo & N/A is there any difference between the two????

Because, I was wondering if a S4 N/A housing would fit on my S5 Turbo engine.???

there are two small differences.

1. the s4 counterwieght is wider, and the front cover is a tad deeper, and thus the water pump housing has a little more clearance to fit.

2. the s5 has a different angle on the lower water hose thingee to clear the metering pump.

its super annoying, because they are really small changes

housings and water pumps are diferent,a s5 water pump wont bolt in to a series 4 housings, bolt pattern its diferent one bolt wont match up,now you can use a na water pump on a turbo car if they are the same series.
