There is a dif in the turbo, but I dont remember the exact terminology as to what...the s5 manifolds use a twin scroll design though, which the s4s don't. The s5 turbo & manifold is an upgrade from the s4, so if you have one laying around, you could swap it....

the 89 has a larger wastegate, and a better exhaust manifold design

If i were to run about 10 psi would i need to port the wastegate? How much pressure can the s5 turbo make with the ported wastegate efficiently?

Thanks again

Isn't that backwards, s4= twin scroll?

yes if you run 10psi you should port the wg, i think it can control like 8 psi w/o being ported.
