S4 to S5 taillight conversion..
Cool, I have always liked the look of the s5 tail lights. I remember reading a thread on the other forum where some guy started flaming about them, saying they looked like the ones on a Thunderbird! I mean I like the stalk ones too, but the s5 look cooler in my opinion. I have a set of s5 tail lights ready to be installed right now on my 88. I even have the license plate part for them. Maybe I will drop them in tomorrow and post some pics. Anyways your lights look good, congrats man.

Fiero...? Ouch..that hurts. All 2nd gens look like fieros w/ there hatch open, lol..thats the first thing my friend said when he saw it over a year ago.
Anyways, yes the car is actually still on a jack. Actually the tranny is...I need to tie the tranny off so I can lower the car again. Without the motor in the car, it still sits pretty normal. I always liked the round tails better then the square ones, makes the car look less dated. It's probably the last cosmetic upgrade until spring. In spring I'll get my wing installed, re amemiya FC2000 front end, and then get a nice coat of audi electric blue
I'm having the front end molded on so there wont be any seems. The door handles and antena are being shaved, the black moulding that goes on the door and fenders is being removed and filled over for a smooth Porsche appearance, lol. Other then that, the only things for looks will be a good tinting, ground control coilovers(lowered to about .75" from the ground, lol), and 17x8.5 wheels in the rear/ 17x8 in the front. Um, oh yea...and Bomex sideskirts and rear valance...I think that covers the cosmetics of my SE-X project. Still haven't made up my mind for the mirrors...

S4 were from 86-88 and s5 were from 89-91. There are also other differences in the body and engine as well. You can fit the lights on your car with minor modifcations. Rotaryman88's car and my car are both 88's. However Rotaryman88's car is going to have about twice as much horsepower! :bigok:
