Hey all, Well I am getting closer to starting the car, but today I plugged in the battery to make sure that everything was plugged in correctly.

Well my test lights gave the AFM code (light 1 two short lights pause and repeat). So I took it out and did all of the tests on it I could (using a multimeter and the FSM) and everything checked out. And all the pins on both the AFM and the connector are in great shape.

Does this mean that the ECU or AFM is broken? Or could making some new grounds be helpful?

on s4 if it sets a code it prolly means that its not connected. you may want to make sure that you're getting signal at the ecu

And something else to say, if I have the car on (not started) and move the flapper door, there is a noise in the engine bay, kinda sounds like it pumps fuel or something like that.

yeah theres a fual pump switch in the afm. i dunno which pin off the top, you want the flapper door signal not the temp sensor. its best to check voltage with it running, should be about 2.25ish volts
