I have an 88 convert.....It starts great, no smoke or anything, runs super for about 20-30 min.....then it acts as though it isnt gettin any fuel...you have ta barely touch the gas pedal...it idels fine....if ya try to give it much gas it will stall out.....any help....thanks boys....

Hmm Try to see if you get any error codes from the computer, do you know how to do that? Sounds like a bad coolant sensor but the codes can help you see if thats' the problem.

i had one like that, it ran great cold and would gradually loose power to the point where top speed was like 30mph. it turned out to be an aftermarket fuel filter that rusted out internally and plugged itself
