Running Pre Mix..

hey i was just wondering, i just got this turbo 2. and i was wondering if i HAD to run pre mix in the car? when i bought it(today) the guy was running it, but in the 7 i had before i didn't run pre mix and it ran fine..so is it ok to not run pre mix anymore? is my car going to be ok if i just STOP doing pre mix and just fuel it up when i go to the gas station? thanks for the help guys! feels good to have an rx7 again

the only time you need to run premix is when you remove your OMP. but if you still have your OMP your fine but you can still rum premix with it though just make sure you put around 2-3 oz. of tc-w3 certified

Check to see that the metering oil pump is still there, and is still connected, and all the lines are in tact and stuff, and that it works, before stopping use of premix





The guy might have been doing it for fun while the metering oil was still being injected, or he removed the whole assembly in which case, yes, it would NEED premix.
